We are thrilled to announce the completion and delivery of a stunning new two-storey building at Brindabella Christian College, crafted by Vamos Group in Canberra. This achievement marks another triumph in our longstanding partnership with a valued and delighted client.

Nestled at the heart of this architectural marvel are state-of-the-art prefabricated modular buildings, seamlessly integrated with conventional construction techniques. The exterior boasts striking features such as off-form exposed concrete, elegant glass balustrades with high-end stainless-steel fittings, and a meticulously designed off-form concrete link bridge. This bridge not only connects this latest project but also pays homage to our acclaimed 2018 Master Builders Association Project of the Year.

The building's design is not just aesthetically pleasing but also serves a critical educational purpose. It expands the college's Early Learning Centre on the lower level and provides additional classrooms for middle school students. Key to its functionality is advanced acoustic treatment, significantly enhancing the learning environment by minimizing external noise and maximizing students' focus and knowledge absorption.

A testament to modern construction practices, the project leveraged modular construction techniques fabricated off-site. This approach not only expedited project delivery but also minimized on-site disruption, crucial in a live educational setting.

Throughout the journey from initial design concepts to the meticulous handover and beyond, Vamos Group has demonstrated unwavering dedication and support. Vidrio project update - framing construction

This stage involves installing timber and/ metal studs, beams, and joists to form the basic structure of the walls, floors, and roof.

During the framing stage, electrical and plumbing systems are also roughed in and the structure is made ready for the installation of insulation and internal linings.

The goal of this stage is to have a strong and sturdy frame that can support the weight of the finished home.

Accurate measurements and proper installation techniques are essential to ensure the longevity and safety of the home.

The framing stage sets the foundation for all future construction work and lays the groundwork for the finished product.

Vidrio project update - basement construction

We have started basement construction on site using an innovative product from @dincelstructuralwalling.

The preformed PVC wall base is stood up, reinforcement steel inserted and concrete is poured.
